This cool climate vineyard enjoys moderate seasonal rainfall. Terracing the vineyard has allowed us to maximise the use of the gentle slopes and by practising sustainable farming techniques, we have been able to harvest high quality grapes with a low yield.
Situated at 600 metres above sea level with direct views of Mount Macedon ranges and Mount Towrong.
This vineyard is farmed with the use of organic composts with no pesticides or herbicides used. Winter prunings are mulched back into the mid rows. All vines are cane pruned and grapes are handpicked. Our wines are made with low intervention and the use of sulphides are kept to a minimum
Mount Towrong Cellar Door in the Macedon Ranges offers a carefully thought out environment coupled with breathtaking views of the local landscapes for an intimate way to experience our wines, perfectly matched with exceptional local produce.
